It was a sweet, sweet surprise when Rachel sent me a message asking me to do some maternity photos of her. When we got together, and I saw her belly, all I could think was, "Darn, I'm giving her pregnant belly some competition!"(And I'm NOT pregnant, btw) Nevertheless, I say she looked in great shape, absolutely radiant, and glowing. (No giving me evil eyes, Rachel.) Now, I say looked because not two days later after these photographs were taken she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy (*Correction: Rachel STILL looks in great shape, absolutely radiant, and glowing*) on her birthday. I'd say that's a birthday gift that can't be topped. EVER. Congratulations, Rachel, John, and big brother Robert!
A crazy idea of mine... you can't really tell, but that's a scale Rachel is standing on. For my own protection, the depth of field was shallow so that the numbers came out blurry.
