It's cold.

The craziest thing about wintertime? The snow? Ice? Harsh, bitter winds? Artic jet stream? No. The static electricity, and with long hair, well, somedays it seems as if I walk with a forcefield around me.

I thought it was high time I put a picture of myself somewhere on my blog. The concept of the crazy hair came from suffering from really intense static electricity. Seriously, I'm a shocking person. I'm like Storm from the X-Men whose only superpower is controlling lightning. So, how did I get my hair to sort of stand on end? I taped shish-kabob sticks unto my headband. At first I was going to tape my hair to the sticks, and then thought against it. Instead, I put my head down and sprayed copious amounts of hairspray in my hair. When I raised my head, the hair caught on the sticks and violá, crazy-electrified-hair-look. And the light? My nifty little flashlight. The flash (on a stick) is on my right side and went off initially. The shutter was left open for a few seconds, so I held the flashlight and rotated in place, with each rotation bringing the flashlight further up and taking care that my face didn't get affected by the light!

A conversation.

I grew up being that person in the family with a camera in hand. I took it upon myself to be the one to capture our vacations, birthdays, holidays, and the random everyday stuff. I love(d) it. I wanted to hold those moments in hand on printed paper. I wanted to see how we grew up. I wanted to look back and laugh at how ridiculously we dressed up. I wanted reminders of the places we've visited together and together reminisce about the places we've been. I wanted to capture what others may not have seen and maybe in a way, feel what I felt in that moment. (And still do).

This photo right here? It reminds me of a man I was blessed to know these past 5 years. That smile rarely left his face. He loved talking about his past, about his church, and his family. He loved his chocolate, grandma's cooking, his salt, cocktail hour and serving the platter of cheese and kielbasa. I love this image of Upi speaking with my brother-in-law. They were so engrossed in their conversation, in that little corner of our tiny dining room for what seemed like forever. Just the two of them talking about the past, church, and family (I assume). A conversation I never heard, but one that I'll always remember.

Christmas 2011.

Not sure about you, but for me, this year has flown really, really quickly. Maybe it didn't help that I was working multiple jobs? Sleeping very little? Stressed and worried most of the time? Yea, those things certainly didn't help. Fortunately, my family and I went away Thanksgiving weekend to Newport RI to relax for a bit. For months before my sister and I talked about doing my niece's Christmas portraits then. We knew we were going to visit one of the mansions, so my sister and I came up with a plan. I had this "Marie Antoinette"-type vision, told my sister and she got Nayita this adorable-looking Belle dress from the Disney store.

Ever seen those posters where there is a picture/product/whatever that a person wanted to copy and right next to it is the person's final product?

NAILED IT.

Ok, maybe not so much. Most of my "visions" never turn out as I want. Gotta keep working on that.

My niece's favorite part of the whole ordeal? Wearing that dress? Wearing her new boots under that dress? Being called a princess by everyone? Throwing sticks into the water fountain? Nope. It was finding those dandelions. Oh the shrieks of JOY.

I photographed their mom's 40th birthday party, now her youngest, Josh's 3rd birthday, and I look forward to shooting more of this family again when the oldest brother, Jeremy, turns 5!

It's a bit dusty in here isn't it? Who would have thought even neglected blogs could collect cyber dust bunnies?
I must admit, I've taken on a lot more work than I am used to handling these past few months. What's crazier is the scientifically-tested and proven fact that I am a doddler. A procrastinator. The "I'm-going-to-do-some-work-oh-look-Glee-is-streaming-from-Netflix-let-me-see-what-all-the-fuss-is-about"...and lo and behold, two (or was it three?) days later, I'm done watching the entire first season of "Glee". 22 episodes. Thanks alot Fox, I haven't been obsessed with a show like that since the "X-Files". Oh, and the work I was supposed to do? Yea, it just keeps piling on and that is 100% on me. I don't know how to time manage... yet. I'm still learning to prioritize things. Slowly, but surely, I am changing my awful habits, and if I don't, there's a gang of dust bunnies waiting to pounce on me.
And yes, I have still been taking photographs...

2011. Who would have thought? 2010 came and went so fast, I blinked and nearly missed it. I hope things can slow down for this new year. I hope that we can see more pink sunrises and cotton candy-colored sunsets. I hope we can remember to slow down and breathe in the little moments that truly matter. I hope that we can do things that matter and can make a difference, albeit if even the smallest of differences. I hope we can learn from past mistakes, make new ones, and learn to makes things better because of them. I hope for more moments like these... careless, happy, and full of golden light that warms the soul.

Working on Vacation...

But it sure did not feel that way. Crystal and Jen, best friends since forever, have girls of their own, Tessa (3 yrs) and Ella (7? months), respectively. Crystal is my best friend's cousin who was interested in maternity shots and photos of her and Jen and their daughters. There was much bribing going on, with cell phones, hair ties, candy, and even jumping on grandma's bed. I even got the older cousins and my best friend Dawn to act like monkeys for a smile. Never a dull moment with kids. They had us wrapped around their chubby little fingers, I tell ya.

Is it a horrible thing to admit that I LOVE "baby crying" photographs??

A weekend away...

It was months in the making.... a whitewater rafting trip in PA. After some yes's, no's, and maybe's, it turned out to be just three of us making the trip (Rita, Becky, and myself). It was a weekend away from the husband (meaning, I was the one not staying home alone), of spending time with some really awesome people, and of spraining my wrist. =) Next time, tubing down the calm Delaware River will be in order.

Whoopin' butt, "Whip It" style..

Seeing an actual roller derby bout was, in simple terms, kick-ass. A fellow photographer friend, Pam Brigante, invited me to shoot this team, The Psycho 78's roller derby. They wanted to have an all out bout, so they split their team in two, and decided to have some fun. All I can really say is that it was intense! I wouldn't dare mess with these girls! And to show just how small the world is, I actually knew one of the girls from the team! (She'd be the one with the bloodied face- face paint that is).

I 2nd shot my first wedding back in June. My nerves were totally wrecked, but Todd and Amanda's?Nerves, shmerves. They were too filled with joy and excitement that their wedding day had finally arrived and that their closest family and friends were present to celebrate their "I do's".

I wandered over to Van Vleck Gardens again one day after work this week and found myself in a garden wonderland. (Secretly in my mind, any place I find that seems magical and out of place I call my own personal Narnia... now if only a nice faun would invite me into his cave-like home for tea and bisbuits...)

So, I read alot of photographers' blog on the daily and one of the talks around town is fashionable, practical camera bags. Lots and lots of camera bags....I've been searching and researching and looking and oogling and then my sister showed me this one bag... and now I know what I'll love for my birthday, that is, unless I can win it for free from Phatstraps. I just purchased a nice camera leather strap from them (the one I have is too short and I can't fit it across my body), and my pudgy hands can hardly wait to have it. A shower of Happiness

A little over a month ago, I was a guest at my husband's cousin, Amanda's bridal shower. I brought my camera along to capture the day, and was met with such prettiness as I've never seen. Amanda's bridesmaids did such a beautiful and excellent job with the shower! The decorations made me want to frolic all around the room, but I decided against it. I have the tendency to trip on air. ;o)

Happy Easter!

This whole week we've had visitors staying with us in our home. J and I have taken them out and about, but since we were going to have Easter dinners with our families, and I had to prepare some dishes, I told J to take our guests out to the movies on Friday night so they wouldn't be home. But alas, the movie ended before I was able to finish the dish I was preparing and our poor guests were witness to such a massacre I do not think they will recover any time soon.

Let's just say our guests "got a call" and had to leave earlier than originally planned.

Their characters are naturally sweet and they always see on the bright side of things, so I sincerely hope they'll be back next year to stay with us again. . . . .

On another side note, last night (or VERY early this morning) I attended my best friend Dawn's midnight service. This year I was waaay too sleepy to take photographs, but I was there last year too and took photos then. Reverend Father Stephen Evanina told me last night he had posted them on their website which can be seen here!. Just scroll down to Pascha 2009 and click to see the slideshow.

The Wild Wild West: Part IV

The Wild Wild West: Part III

I must have totally bypassed this folder... This should have been the first set of photos I should have posted, but alas, we all make mistakes. At least this one is no biggie. These are of my train ride from Newark to Carbondale, IL, with a very long lay over in Chicago. It gave me time to follow Steph's advice and have an authentic Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Oh heaven. I'm surprised I do not have a photograph of it. Bummer.

Lake Michigan was very impressive and massive to say the least! Seriously, I can't believe it's only a lake.

The Famous "Bean" of Chicago. Again, pretty boss. I wasn't expecting it (because I did not know about it beforehand), so it was pretty cool to discover such a cool structure. I was aaahhhhmazed.

The Wild WIld West: Part II

One of our many stops in the field geology class took us to the Badlands National Park. I know I will say this of every place we visited that summer, but the Badlands were spectacular. It is a beautiful place. It is majestic and full of wonder and I hope to return there one day. Now, if you're wondering why they are called the "Badlands", it was given its name by the Native Americans of the region, the Sioux Indians, because the lands are difficult to traverse and there is a lack of water. Pretty straightforward.

We stayed there overnight and with the remaining daylight hours, we were able to explore the area...

(One of the many lessons learned out West... always put on sunblock, and reapply, reapply, reapply! )

The Wild Wild West: Part I

I am a geologist (kinda). Actually, I have my B.S. in Geoscience, and am (still) currrently, trying to finish my Master's in Geoscience. One of the classes I decided to take was a geology field camp. Field camp consisted of six weeks out West, looking at rocks, studying rock formations, mapping, hiking, taking measurements and peeing out in the woods. Fortunately for me, my good friend and Antarctic-traveling companion, Steph (from IL), was also planning on going to field camp (it was a requirement for her as an undergrad), and she said, "Come to mine...PLEASE!... with ME!!!" And my reply was, "O-K!". So, the Wild Wild West....indeed it was...

I had decided to be a little more adventerous and take a train ride out to IL (where our trip was starting from). It was supposed to be a 17 or 18hr ride from NJ to IL with some stops along the way (2 hr layover in Washington, D.C., and another 6 hr layover in Chicago). I must have traveled for a day and a half (there were delays as well). During the night ride, I sat next to a lady who was traveling all the way from NY or NJ, or FL (?), and was heading out to Washington State. She talked. ALOT. It was 4 am and still her lips kept moving. Around 5 am, as she was talking and telling her life story, she proudly says how she hadn't taken a shower in 5 days. Huh, I wouldn't have guessed.

Since we visited alot of places and I think I took the most photos out there (so proud of myself), I'll post a few pictures a week from each location. This is part I: The "from the road" photos. . . . .

There were four vans altogether. Ours was notoriously known as Van 4. We were such bad-asses.

All photos were taken with my point-and-shoot Pentax Optios S50, with no post-processing. Just good ol' straight-out-of-the-camera stuff.

Maternity Session: Rachel

It was a sweet, sweet surprise when Rachel sent me a message asking me to do some maternity photos of her. When we got together, and I saw her belly, all I could think was, "Darn, I'm giving her pregnant belly some competition!"(And I'm NOT pregnant, btw) Nevertheless, I say she looked in great shape, absolutely radiant, and glowing. (No giving me evil eyes, Rachel.) Now, I say looked because not two days later after these photographs were taken she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy (*Correction: Rachel STILL looks in great shape, absolutely radiant, and glowing*) on her birthday. I'd say that's a birthday gift that can't be topped. EVER. Congratulations, Rachel, John, and big brother Robert!

A crazy idea of mine... you can't really tell, but that's a scale Rachel is standing on. For my own protection, the depth of field was shallow so that the numbers came out blurry.

I Like: The Allupons

I like the Allupons so much, I keep playing their new single "Over Again"... over and over again. I saw them at a carnival a few months ago and took some photos (also, because the lead singer/guitarist, Brian Kennedy, asked me to... I swear). They are the up-and-coming group of Clifton and have even been featured on the Clifton Journal shown below. Now, I've of course heard them more than once, and will continue to do so into the far off future. And I hope you will too. I Like: Sara Norris Photography

I visit many blogs on the daily.... and usually, reading one blog will lead me into many other blogs. I was on Design Crush one day and she had featured a new artist....Sara Norris. Well, what can I say? It was love at first sight! I find her images to be so so so dreamy and beautiful. Most of the time I want to be able to transport myself into one of her photos. Oh, if only. IF ONLY. It would take alot to bring me back to reality.

Well, when I first went to her blog, Sara was having her first ever giveaway, and lucky me, I actually won something! I was allowed to pick out any item in Sara's Etsy Shop. I instantly fell in love with this necklace. When I'm in better shape and my cheeks don't take up a majority of the photo, I'll take a picture wearing it =). For now, my dark travertine trivet will do.

Food Photography

About a month ago, the opportunity came up to take some food photos for my workplace. Taking photos for work? I was elated. E-l-a-t-e-d. I took the photos at work with minimal equipment...(my camera -Nikon D90, 35mm f2.0 lens, white cardboard, and plenty of natural light, that is, as much as was allowed from the single window in our lab). Not only did we have to takes photos of the seasonings, but they also had to be prepped and cooked up. I have a much better appreciation for food photographers out there. There is definately alot of planning and designing that goes into food photography And lots of tasting afterwards. Lots and lots of tasting.

Jonathan & Jasmine: Married 11-07-09

They met in school. He liked her, but she had to warm up to him. Eventually, they put their feelings in the hands of God, and He took it from there. These two are seriously two peas in a pod. Everyone that knows them say the same thing...they are perfect for each other. And indeed they are. Perfectly cheesy. =) Just kidding. You know I love you guys. And now, FINALLY....the wedding of Jonathan & Jasmine....

Evelyn & Meredith: Double Trouble.

I've known these two little munchkins since they were in their mom's, Sylvia's, tummy. I had so much fun with them then (I use to poke Sylvia's belly and they used to kick right back! thus causing some bruising on mom's belly), and still do now. I can hardly believe they are almost three....THREE!!! Where does the time go, seriously? Anyways, these two, well, you were already able to tell their personalities even as they were growing in the belly. It was apparently Meredith, the more outgoing, outspoken one, that used to kick back when I poked. Evelyn on the other hand is the much more quieter, reserved twin...so I warn the parents that she's the one they should watch out for. I should now...I'm a "quiet" one too. Muahahaha. And as if chasing after one 2-year old is bad enough, try two 2 1/2 year-olds. Talk about a marathon. Like Ironman-type marathon. Whoa. They literally ran circles around me.
Bonus points if you can point out which is Evelyn and which is Meredith. =)

Venus Jewelers: Grand Re-Opening

The Sales & Marketing manager of Venus Jewelers & Gemologists, Donna, contacted me back in September to photograph the grand-reopening of their store that had just gone expansion and renovations. It was my first time shooting an event like this, but I loved it! Everyone kept asking me if I worked for the newspaper (I wish...), I had a couple who posed for me (they worked it fabulously), and about every single person who walked into the store apologized to me for getting in my way. (Of course, they weren't). Many thanks to the Staff of Venus Jewelers for allowing me to photograph their big event, for their kindness and beautiful large smiles. It is no wonder they've only grown in their business! I wish you all the best in the coming years.

They had a classical guitarist and yum-o food at their cocktail party.

Holiday Portrait Sessions

Tis the season, in case you haven't noticed..cause people haven't already set out their Christmas decorations and the stores and radios haven't been playing holiday songs 24/7 since Halloween was barely over! Few, as in 4 weeks away. Whoa.

Emma: 1st Birthday Party

Sweet baby Emma turned 1 this November, and her family got together to celebrate her birthday. Of course, Emma was excited. Belly Love: Ascha & RJ

I may have begged Ascha to take her maternity photos and luckily for me, she graciously accepted. I've known her since she was a wee little one herself and it always amazes me to no end to have seen such a tiny little girl grow up to be a beautiful woman, and now, a loving mom. Many rich blessings to her, her soon-to-be husband RJ, and their beautiful little boy, Elijah, born on October 28. From what I witnessed, they are a family that will never stop giggling or laughing....Ascha and RJ were perfectly happy being themselves (and being lovey dovey) in front of the camera. You guys rocked it!

Baby Love: Robert

This little 1+yr old fella showed me all his true colors. Seriously. When I met him for the first time, I was witness to the whole spectrum that is Robert. From shy, to crying, to giggling, to nonchalant, to giggly again, to absolute sweetness, to studious, to curious, and then finally intent on watching his lion show on PBS. Such a cutie pie with the most adorable looking suit!!! I kept thinking 'Dr. Marcus Brody' from Indiana Jones... I don't know, something about that intelligent look in his eyes and that cute bow-tie ;) . Many thanks to Robert's parents, John and Rachel, for allowing me into their home to take some photographs of their beautiful, ever-growing family (congrats again!!!)

Jasmine's Bridal Shower

It's hard to believe that my big brother will be wed in less than a month from now... Whoa!!! And to a most perfect p.i.c. (that's Partner In Crime for those who don't know). But before they take the plunge, Jasmine's family and best friends (and fiance) all surprised her by giving her a bridal shower! Good food, fun games, and lots of hugs. Lots and lots of hugs. =)

It amazes me to no end how fast babies truly grow. From the belly to crawling to walking and speaking and learning and sponging up EVERYTHING they see and hear. And they remember all sorts of things. Like how you have the coolest trinkles in your purse so your is the only that they truly love and always go back to. Like I said, AMAZING. Today, little Nadia turms two (where did the time go?!) Happy cumpleaños to the most beautiful niece in the whole entire world =)

Odette & Ronnie: Baby Shower

Rocio has been a Godsend in my life... if I would ever have a manager, it would be her, hands-down. She took a chance and allowed me to photograph her most adorable daughter Emma, and not too long after, asked if I would photograph her best friend Odette's baby shower as a sort-of gift to her. I said yes despite my nervousness, lack of faith in my ability to photograph anything, and my insides churning in total chaos. The day came, and I couldn't be more anxious....my hands were so sweaty I thought the cameras would slip out of my hands...I was in such aflutter I may have forgotten to speak to people and ask names....despite how many times Rocio told me the name of the mom-to-be, I couldn't remember!...I may have also possibly insulted Odette (the mom-to-be) (I'm sooooo sorry about the whole lip-gloss thing)... and I had all of the relatives mixed up, ie. I thought the nephew was a son, the husband a brother, the sister a friend, etc etc. I did many Homer Simpson "DOHS" in the car ride home. Yes indeed, MANY. But regardless of my wrecked, sweaty, messy self, the baby shower ran smoothly thanks to some very hard-working and dedicated sisters, family and friends. This was a surprise baby shower full of love, full of laughter, and TONS of food.... cause you know, the baby has to eat! ;)

Odette and Ronnie (and Rocio!), my sincerest apologies for the lateness of the photographs, and my utmost gratitude for the opportunity to share in your joyous occasion! I pray for a fast and safe delivery, ten fingers, ten toes, and lots of love, laughter, and joy, whether a girl or a boy....

Yes, yes I do. So much so, during the last year of high school, I actually debated with myself over what I wanted to study in college....meteorology or geoscience? Go stormchasing in Oklahoma (Like Helen Hunt in "Twister"...i swore I wanted to be like her), or be something more of an Indiana Jones??....(of course, without that whole womanizing-thing he had going on...). Eventually, geoscience won out (figured I'd end up ridding the world of pollution!....still working on that though), yet still I love skies, and weather, and clouds, and maybe one day I'll get to fulfill that dream and do that whole Helen Hunt thing from "Twister".

I know everyone says it, but...I really, truly, without a doubt, 100%, absolutely, positively loooove taking long walks on the beach. And I'm not saying this because of the beautiful scenery, or the gorgeous sunsets/sunrises you get to witness, or the cooling effects of the water on your feet, or the awesome taste of salt in the air, but because the 5-yr-old in me thinks of it as the ultimate treasure hunt. Pink rock?! Gotta have that! ...Shell with a hole in the middle! Ooh! I know the perfect place for it! ...Crab head and no body??! LET'S TAKE A PICTURE OF IT CAUSE IT'S SOOO COOL!

There's no doubt about it...I am like a 5 year-old when it comes to balloons. I LOVE them. I've always wanted a party like in the movie "Patch Adams"...you know, a room filled floor-to-ceiling with balloons???...(which I almost succeeded in doing this past weekend, sort of).... I know that this love stems from the love of the play pen ball room, just like they have in Ikea. I used to love those ballrooms as a kid. Talk about fun. And talk about a practical and positive way of using plastic. Don't you think the world would be a better place if all the plastic garbage in the world was turned into playpen balls? ..........Anyways, again, I digress.

I'm the youngest of 3 children born in Puerto Rico to two then-missionaries (currently pastors now in NJ). There are so many things I remember from my chilhood....the hamsters, chicks, and bunny we had as pets...the park in front of our 21-story apartment building, my kindergarden crush, Jose Guillermo (I started young, what can I say?), the long road trips we used to make with our parents whenever they had to go to a campaign to preach or sing or play the harp, Christmases spent going from house to house, singing and eating as we went along, the beach, the cool hurricanes, the awesome FRESH school lunches we had, the printing shop my dad used to work at, the awful fashion mistakes I've made (blue little heels with bright NEON orange socks??? Really?? Why didn't anyone stop me?!?!) ...........Thank God I grew out of that uncomfortable and weird fashion stage...............right? ~rachel

Impromptu: Baby Emma

You cannot help but fall in love with this beautiful baby girl. Emma is sweet. She is happy. She is vivacious. She is beyond a doubt a little angel and a blessing. And I mean, a truly patient angel, like, she might have the patience of Mother Theresa or something. For two whole hours this past Saturday, this almost 9-month-old allowed me to hold her, make her laugh, play with her, and take tons (538 to be exact) of pictures of her. Thank you Rocio for taking a chance on me, welcoming me into your home, and allowing me to take up your time in this totally unscheduled shoot! Hope it was worth it. And it was a total JOY to have finally met you and your beautiful family.

(sidenote: the photographs are completely out of order, but....i guess no one really cares about that huh? Just FYI.)

SOOC Tuesdays: Ammophila arenaria

I wonder if anyone out there has tried to name their kid Ammophila??? You're probably wondering what it is.... well.... the sooc picture is a b.i.g. clue. It's something that is the cause for stability. Maybe it should be grown in Capital Hill. And in houses all across the U.S, and all over the world..... but I digress. I'm a random writer, I know this. But I accept it too. Anyways, today I'm sure some of you have learned something new, sand dune grass has a cool scientific name, Ammophila arenaria, which I'm sure you could possibly say in a cool italian accent. Or like a magic spell from Harry Potter.

A combination platter

So, who doesn't love combination platters?! Well, I do, and since yesterday I didn't do my SOOC Tuesday (that's Straight Out Of Camera, for those who are new), I'm doing it today, along with the usual "I Like" Wednesdays segment. A double whammy for ya'll.
Most of the pics below will be SOOC with the occasional 4 or 5 that have been photoshopped. You'll be able to tell, I'm sure. But let me tell you more about these photographs....over a month ago I had written that I went to a Lensbaby workshop... about a couple weeks later, when I meant to post them, *poof* they were gone from my laptop. Nowhere to be found on it, or on my external harddrive or even in the memory cards. I was soooo upset. Darn! I thought it was another "photographic" lesson that I had to learn... you know, such as always make sure to download your photos... carry extra batteries....format all your cards in camera after every use (AFTER you've already downloaded the files, of course)....have your lenscap on whenever you have the camera on a tripod..... don't EVER leave you're camera on a tripod and walk away.... these are things I've learned so far, and I'm sure there are many more, but I can't recall at the moment. So, much to my surprise, I was looking for a CD to print out a picture for a cousin, when lo and behold, there it was... "Lensbaby Workshop June 7 2009" I had burned the files unto a CD and had totally forgotten about them! I was out-of-this-world ecstatic! Then I thought, "I'm such a fool for forgetting".
So, what is it that "I Like"? If you guessed finding things I thought were long lost.... then you're right. How many times did I think I lost something of value to me and then realize weeks or even months later that they weren't permenantly lost, just misplaced?? It's always such a relief, and it's little things like that that make me happy. Does that make you happy too?
A little bit about the Lensbaby. It's a nifty little lens with "one sweet spot of focus surrounded by graduated blur". In simple words, an awesome effect and a cool lens you can play with! And now, the pictures....

Taking a break...

So, for the first time in my life I went to a midnight release of a movie.... [can you guess which =) ] The following day, my friend Rita invited me to go down the beach with her and a friend of hers, Becky. We actually got to talking so much that we all forgot to 1) re-apply sunblock after coming in from the water, and 2) turn over. We were talking on our bellies for a while and didn't realize until too late that we all burned our backsides. Ouch. The back of my thighs still hurt! All I wanted was my legs to match the color of my arms, and now I have bi-colored legs, and a multi-colored body. Oh well, I guess I'm going to need more trips to the beach to correct this little problem.

Anyways, Becky is an awesome underwater videographer/photographer and has been to some of the coolest places on Earth. She just may have the coolest JOB on the planet. You can check out her work here.

So, I've been going crazy doing the photoshopping thing....I can't help it, it's like a drug! And lately I've been into the works of Max Wanger. I like his style. Do you like it?

This part of the beach is pretty much isolated and the wind continuous so that the sand is constantly moving and flowing along the surface. It makes that cool noise, such as when sleet falls on the ground. I just find it to be peaceful, and a great exfoliator for the legs, of course.

Baby tellins. Whenever my feet would sink in, it would bring them up to the surface, and then they'd start burrowing down into the sand, tickling my feet. I kept doing it and yelling, "They're tickling me!!!" cause I'm that mature.
